Why you must get FRESH Blood!
In network marketing you must be continually MLM prospecting because you really need FRESH NEW BLOOD constantly flowing in – just like Count Dracula!! You need to do MLM prospecting on a continues basis because a successful business is built around a constant flow of fresh new distributors into it. If your organisation is continually bringing new people into it – as well as providing more short-term income – it brings vitality to your whole business.
You should be spending about 80% of your time MLM Prospecting for your business.
So many people spend 100% of their time MANAGING their downline INSTEAD of finding FRESH BLOOD to PUT INTO their business.
If you want to succeed – 80% OF YOUR TIME SHOULD BE SPENT out in the trenches looking for new people to join, and about 15% empowering your leaders, and 5% on those who you feel are not that likely to succeed.
If you think about it – if you spend your time managing your existing distributors and trying to ‘help’ them, then it means that you are putting all your eggs into one basket (them) and you’re not bringing new people into the business.
Also to make things worse – as this is a business of DUPLICATION and monkey see – monkey do, your new distributors will ALSO MANAGE THEIR DOWNLINES AS WELL.
The end result – your business is going NOWHERE FAST!! 50% of most network marketing businesses fail because people stop recruiting or MLM prospecting, and they start MANAGING.
It’s easier to find motivated people, than it is to motivate others.
GO WIDE AS QUICKLY AS YOU CAN!
It really is a misconception that this business isn’t work, and all you need is 4 or 5 serious people and then help them drive their lines deep.
The key to MASSIVE organisations is going WIDE as quickly as possible because the reality is people QUIT!
Also it’s worth noting that for most million dollar network marketing downlines, usually the attrition rate can be as high as 80%!!
What this means is that in most massive organisations of thousands of distributors – of every 10 people they sign up, only 2 will survive the long-haul.
You don’t know who those 2 will be which is why it’s so important to KEEP MLM prospecting continually, and to teach your downline to do the same.
It’s the only way to steer away from the INEVITABILITY of attrition.
MLM prospecting effectively is about leaders finding leaders finding leaders.
Why MLM Prospecting is more important than managing your downline.
There is a fine line between creating dependency and empowering others in your business but basically it should come down to this.
You are there to:
Help them close a serious prospect.
Give them encouragement when they’re feeling down.
But by no means are you to ‘manage’ their business for them.
It can be so hard especially when you find an amazingly ‘good’ person and all you want to do is help them manage their business for them – but it just doesn’t work.
You are creating co-dependency for them which will actually DESTROY their organisation. Everyone will be managing their downlines instead of getting out there MLM prospecting.
What you’ll find is that the frontline recruits who demand the least attention will be your superstars!! And they are superstars because like vampires they are continually getting their hands dirty. Every vampire knows that without fresh blood they die a slow death.
To stay alive, they’re out in the night MLM prospecting, and getting FRESH NEW BLOOD into their organizations on a continual basis.
